Welcome Inside the Process
Designing for the Future in Ghana
Today, I want to do something a little different.
Instead of just showcasing a finished design, I want to open up my process—so you can better understand how these ideas come to life, long before construction begins.
As a designer and green developer, my first priority is not just creating beautiful spaces—it’s setting clear expectations and defining a strong vision from the start. Because once that vision is clear, everything else becomes more efficient, more intentional, and ultimately more successful.
What I’m sharing with you here is part of that process.
This is a recent multi-family residence design based in Pokuase, Accra—a flexible, Afro-modern concept designed to adapt over time. But more importantly, this is an opportunity for you to see how I communicate ideas, explore layouts, and present a vision to clients before we ever break ground.
This isn’t about selling you on this specific building.
It’s about helping you understand what to expect when you’re developing your own project.
Start Here (20 Minutes): Watch the Full Video Presentation
If you have about 20 minutes, I recommend starting with the YouTube presentation.
This gives you a guided walkthrough of the design—explaining the layout, the flexibility of the units, and the thinking behind key decisions.
It’s the best way to quickly understand the full concept.
Next Level: Explore the Visual Breakdown
If the video sparks your interest, the next step is a deeper look inside the design.
This includes additional interior perspectives that highlight the atmosphere, spatial flow, and overall feel of the spaces. It allows you to better understand how the design translates into a lived experience—beyond just the concept.
Full Immersion: Step Inside the Virtual Experience
And if you really want to experience the project…
I’ve included a virtual walkthrough that allows you to move through the spaces at your own pace—looking around, exploring angles, and truly understanding the environment.
Why This Matters
The best way to develop clear expectations for your own project is simple:
See examples. Understand the process. Experience the vision early.
That’s how we avoid confusion.
That’s how we make better decisions.
That’s how we build smarter.
This is how I approach every project—
Define the vision first.
Then design with purpose.
If this resonates with you, take some time to explore the links—and let me know your thoughts.
And as always…
Imagine the possibilities.
